Light: part sun
Height: 3 – 8 feet (4 – 6 is typical)
Water: moderate to low, drought tolerant once established but prefers some water
Soil type: firm loam to clay soils

Evergreen shrub with dark green leathery narrow leaves covered with tiny orange spots that give it a somewhat russet color; inconspicuous flowers followed by small bright red berries that are not very tasty; great landscaping plant for shady areas
